In 2019, Verdad Real Estate diversified into the self-storage asset class. Using its unique retail perspective, Verdad focuses primarily on opportunities in secondary markets with strong competitor rental rates, and low saturation/high unmet demand to develop Class A facilities. Verdad has recently expanded its focus into acquiring Class A, “Value Add” storage facilities in primary and secondary markets, implanting Extra Space Storage’s sophisticated revenue management and marketing platforms to maximize asset performance.
Since creating its storage platform, Verdad has developed and/or acquired, or has in pipeline, 23 storage facilities in LA, VA, MS, MO, TX, FL, KY, TN, AZ, IN, ME, MD, IL NJ, and PA.
